The ‘no-follow’ breaks the connection you are trying to make between one website and the next, defeating the purpose of a link from the perspective of Google optimization (people can of course still click the link and visit your site directly). Whether we like it or not, SEO isn’t simply “plug n’ play”, and it won’t automatically look after itself. You’d be surprised, however, at the ROI you can achieve with a few hours of focused outreach every month. If you are putting content on your own site, try to keep things fairly uniform. This can help you start building your own following and establish your own voice. Of course, that shouldn’t stop you from doing something that has more of a “shock factor.” Something a little more controversial can draw in big crowds, which translates to a lot of clicks and comments. SEO is a great way to put your hands up in the air and tell potential customers that your business exists and has a web presence among the thousands of
competing pages and the competitor businesses behind them.
Are you focussing on the right keywords?
Any link to another part of the same site is called an internal link. As well as links you'd expect to find (within a site menu bar, for example) you can also create internal links by linking to past posts within newer ones. Its that simple! that, despite popular belief, having keywords in the domain name does not help your SEO and it won’t help your website reach a global audience. t’s not necessarily bad to optimize for traffic, it depends on your goals; if you’re in e-commerce or a service based business it is more valuable to invest your resources in making sure you rank well for the terms that are most likely to lead to a sale; optimize for conversion, not just to gain the visitor. Your website loading speed is one of the most important rankings factors in Google. No one likes slow websites, and neither does Google.

Only link to pages on other websites that you think your visitors would find helpful, valuable and/or interesting. Most people simply ignore this part as not important – please don’t do the same. Remember the following two sayings: “Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are” and “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” Nowadays the way in which we structure URL addresses, write title tags and meta-descriptions, optimize website images and so on becomes less important as Google focuses on other SEO factors (mostly on content and link building techniques). You can signal relevancy of your content to search engines by using keywords for your image file name, alt tag, title, description and caption. A common way to judge the reputation of a website is to check its Domain Authority (DA). DA is a score (on a 100-point scale) developed by Moz that predicts how well a website will rank on search engines. A
site’s DA can grow over time, like a lifelong reputation. A backlink from a high DA website to your own is a strong indicator of your own authority on a topic. For instance, bbc.co.uk, a news site which is trusted the world over has a very high DA of 95. A backlink from a site like this would be powerful for your backlink profile.
Link out only to relevant websites
Content syndication is the term used for the tactical republishing of your original article on another third-party website. It’s particularly useful if you’re a smaller publisher or an up-and-coming writer who wants a larger audience. In establishing domain names, you may come across articles, which may suggest not to make use of hyphens on them. You should become aware though that using hyphens on your domain name is not a bad practice. However, you should know that most people these days, are not used to typing domain names on their browsers that come with hyphens. When they are indexing

points of the topics that are covered. They also
browse the HTML code for metadata such as
particular tags or markups, so that they can
determine the relevance of individual pages to

Build Authority online through outreach campaigns and Digital PR
The relevance of a website’s content is particularly important for search engines; it affects how high a website will appear in the search results for a given search term. I think it's good to have lots of content on the website given the 'long tail' nature of searchers' keyword queries. Think long term rather than short term. Short term will get you nowhere with SEO. Using structured data, you can serve Google your address details in the most convenient way.
